Mahindra will begin delivering the Pack Two versions of its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs by the end of July 2025. These updated models now come with two battery options: a 59-kWh pack that offers a city driving range of around 400 km, and a new 79 kWh pack that provides up to 500 km. The BE 6 Pack Two is priced at ₹21.9 lakh for the 59-kWh variant and ₹23.5 lakh for the 79-kWh version.
The Mahindra XEV 9e is priced at ₹24.9 lakh for the 59-kWh variant and ₹26.5 lakh for the 79-kWh version (ex-showroom). These prices were not including the cost of the home charger and installation, which can be added separately with customers can choose between a 7.2 kW or 11.2 kW charger. Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e support fast DC charging, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 140-kW charger for the 59-kWh pack and a 175-kW charger for the 79-kWh pack. Customers who have already booked earlier models will have the option to upgrade to the 79-kWh version. Mahindra’s also share in the electric passenger vehicle market has also seen strong growth—rising to 21.4% in May 2025 with 2,632 EVs sold, up from just 7.4% in May 2024 when it sold 594 units, according to data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).
Steady Demand for Mahindra’s Electric SUVs
Mahindra’s Electric Origin range, which includes the BE 6 and XEV 9e, continues to see the strong demand. According to the company, one Mahindra electric SUV were sold every 10 minutes, highlighting growing customer interest in the brand’s EVs.
Safety and Performance Features
The Pack Two versions of the BE 6 and XEV 9e come equipped with Level 2 ADAS, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic parking brake, six airbags, and a high stiffness bodyshell for enhanced crash safety and performance.
Premium Interiors and Tech
Inside the cabin, both SUVs offer a premium experience with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, dual-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging.
Unique Dash Designs
The XEV 9e features a striking triple-screen coast-to-coast dashboard, while the BE 6 comes with a sleek digital cockpit setup for a modern driving interface.
Smart Driving and Connectivity
Both models offer adaptive cruise control, multiple drive modes, single-pedal driving, and connected car features such as scheduled charging and cabin pre-cooling via mobile app.
Stylish Design and Comfort
Standard features include leatherette interiors, a fixed glass roof, 19-inch alloy wheels, and sequential turn indicators. The BE 6 gets an extra touch of the luxury with sage leatherette seats and an ivory roof lining, features that were previously limited to higher variants.
