Bollywood actress and former beauty queen Tanushree Dutta, were known for her debut in Aashiq Banaya Aapne, is in the news for a troubling reason. She recently shared a video on Instagram that has gone viral quickly, where she is seen crying and claiming she is being harassed at her home.

Tanushree Dutta, who was one of the first celebrities to speak up during India’s #MeToo movement in 2018, is once again in the spotlight. Back then, she had made serious allegations against actor Nana Patekar. Now, years later, she says she is facing harassment in her own home.

In an emotional Instagram video, Tanushree said, “I just called the police, and they told me to go to the station to file a complaint. I’m not well. I’ve been harassed for the past five years, and it has made me a sick. I can’t even work.”

She also claimed that people are being sent as house help to disturb and steal from her, making it hard for her to live in peace.

In another post, Tanushree shared that she has been hearing loud and disturbing noises outside her door and on her roof almost every day since 2020. She said, “I got tired of complaining to the building management and gave up. Now I use headphones with mantras to stay calm in her own home.”

She added, “Today I was very unwell. As you know, I have developed chronic fatigue syndrome because of the constant stress and anxiety for the last 5 years. The noise was going on all day and evening, even past allowed hours! Yesterday I have posted about this, and today it’s still happening. Now you all can understand what I’ve been going through. There are many more things I will mention in the police complaint (FIR).”

She ended with a plea: “Please someone help me! Do something before when it’s too late.”

Tanushree, who won Femina Miss India Universe 2004 and made India proud by reaching the Top 10 at Miss Universe that year, was a well-known actress in Bollywood during the mid-2000s. She starred in the popular movies like Bhagam Bhag and Dhol.

After disappearing from the film industry for some time, she made a strong comeback in 2018 with her brave #MeToo testimony, which brought her back into the spotlight.

Now, her latest shocking revelations have raised public concern again and sparked new discussions online.
