Shefali Jariwala, who became famous with the song “Kaanta Laga,” has died. She was only 42 years old. This sad news came on June 27, 2025, late at night. People in the TV and film world, and also her fans, are very shocked and sad.
Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, took her to the hospital quickly. But the doctors said she had already passed away when she reached. This happened at Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai.
Doctors said she had a heart attack. The time was around 1:00 AM when police got the call. Her body was taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem
Right now, the doctors are checking everything. Police said they will give full report soon. They are trying to understand what really caused her death. Till then, we only know it may be a heart problem.

Shefali was born on December 15, 1982, in Mumbai. She became famous in the year 2002 because of the remix song “Kaanta Laga.” In the music video, her dance and bold look made her very popular. After that, she worked in many shows. She was in Bigg Boss 13, a big reality TV show. Later, she joined reality shows like Nach Baliye 5 & 7, with her husband Parag. Many fans loved them. Before Parag, Shefali was married to Harmeet Singh. But they got divorced in 2009. Later, she met Parag Tyagi and married him in 2014.

They received a call at about 1 AM on June 28.She was found at her Andheri residence.She was taken to Cooper Hospital for a post‑mortem.The police said, “The cause of death is not yet clear”. A police team and forensic experts visited her home to examine the scene. The police are waiting for the post‑mortem report to know exactly what happened. Many news reports say she might have had a heart attack. But this is not confirmed yet. The police are still working on it.
