Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal has offically announced her separation from her husband Parupalli Kashyap while ending their seven year of long marriage. With a heartful message she have shared on her Instagram ” Life sometimes takes people in different directions”. she have emphasized that both of them are choosing peace, growth and healing as they have now move forwarded separately.
Saina and Kashyap earned admiration as one of India’s most beloved sports couples
They began their journey at the Pullela Gopichand Academy in Hyderabad, where they trained side by side and nurtured a strong bond over the years. In December 2018, they tied the knot and became a celebrated couple, often admired for their mutual respect and shared ambitions.

Saina have thanked everyone for respecting their privacy and acknowledge their personal space and beautiful memories that they have created together. She have wrote that this decision was very difficult to made but it was made with thoughtful consideration and mutual understanding. Both athletes had their remarkable careers
Saina Nehwal who is a first Indian woman to win an Olympics medal in badminton. She had her bronze at the 2012 London Olympics and had numerous international titles that had made her a household name among everyone. Kashyap has also left his mark in Indian Badminton after winning gold at 2014 Commonwealth Games and reaching at top 10 in world ranking.
Saina has been dealing with health issues
She is dealing with arthritis which have affected her training and performances as well. She have already hinted her retirement but hasn’t made an official announcement yet on the other hand Kashyap have taken retirement from his professional badminton in 2024 and since then have taken up in coaching.
