Telangana CM Urges Officials to Prevent Spread of Seasonal Diseases During Monsoon
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed all the officials across the state to take some strong steps to stop the spread of these seasonal diseases during the monsoon season.

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy urged officials to take swift measures against seasonal diseases during the monsoon. In a video conference with district collectors and health staff, he stressed the need for prompt action and strong planning to safeguard public health.
The Chief Minister expressed concern over the rise in diseases
Diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya, and viral fevers, which usually increase during the rainy season. He have asked the district administrations to begin with sanitation drives immediately and focus on the mosquito control. He have also stressed about the importance of keeping public places clean and removing the stagnant water, which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
To ensure proper medical support
CM have instructed all the health departments to keep doctors available round-the-clock at the government hospitals and Primary Health Centres (PHCs). He have also asked officials to conduct surprise inspections at the health centers to check their readiness. The CM instructed officials to give special attention to people living in tribal areas and remote villages. He directed medical teams to visit these regions and carry all necessary medicines and supplies to ensure proper healthcare reaches every corner of the state.
Revanth Reddy have announced
Each district will receive ₹1 crore as a emergency funds to handle health and sanitation needs during the monsoon season. The CM asked district collectors to use the funds wisely and ensure that they cover every area without exception. He warned that the government will take strict action against officials who fail to perform their duties responsibly.
The CM discussed the importance of coordination between departments like health, municipal, irrigation, and education
He said that weekly review meetings should be held to track the progress and solve any issues quickly. He have asked the officials to submit daily reports to the state government about the steps taken to prevent all the seasonal diseases.

CM have reviewed the status of rainfall and its impact on the farmers. He have instructed the officials to keep farmers informed about all the weather updates and ensure that fertilizer stocks are available. He said that the welfare of farmers is a top priority and that all efforts must be made to support them during the rainy season.
The Telangana government has activated emergency teams
In the flood-prone areas, especially in Hyderabad, to manage the waterlogging and traffic problems. These teams include members from the police, GHMC, and disaster response forces.
