No Entry for Pakistan Flights: India has decided to keep its airspace closed for planes from Pakistan for one more month, until August 24, 2025.

After the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 innocent people, India decided to close its airspace to all planes operated, owned, or leased by Pakistan, including military aircraft, starting from April 30.

This airspace ban is one of the several steps taken by the Indian government in response to the attack.

Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, said that the ban on Pakistani aircraft using Indian airspace has now been officially extended till August 2025.

He shared this update in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday night, saying that the extension was made due to ongoing security concerns and follows existing some safety measures.

No Entry for Pakistan Flights: The ban was first supposed to end on May 24, but it was later extended to June 24, then to July 24, and now until August 23, 2025.

The new NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) banning Pakistani aircraft from Indian airspace will remain in effect until 11:59 PM (UTC) on August 23, which is 5:30 AM (IST) on August 24.

At the same time, Pakistan has also extended its airspace ban for Indian aircraft by another month, now effective till August 24.

Pakistan first announced this restriction on April 24, in response to India suspending the Indus Water Treaty. The ban was originally set to end on May 24, but it has been extended multiple times—to June 24, then July 24, and now again until August 24.
