This scheme will run for five years with a budget of ₹2,000 crore entirely funded by the state government. - Initially designed as a 4-lane road, it can be expanded to 6 lanes in the future.
- The project will generate 38 lakh man-days of employment during construction and maintenance.
This expressway is expected to boost religious tourism in Chitrakoot and contribute to the economic growth of the region.
Major Upgrade for Polytechnic Colleges
The UP government has joined hands with Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) to modernize technical education in the state.
- 121 polytechnic institutes will be upgraded to meet industry demands.

- This initiative will increase job placements for diploma students in private and public sectors.
Women Empowerment Through Stamp Duty Reforms
In a move towards women empowerment, the UP government announced:
- A 1% reduction in stamp duty on property purchases worth up to ₹1 crore in the name of a woman.
- Earlier, this benefit was available only for properties worth ₹10 lakh.
- This step will encourage more women to own property and become financially stronger.
UP Assembly Monsoon Session from August 11
The cabinet also announced that the Monsoon Session of the UP Assembly will start on August 11, 2025. This session will discuss pending bills, ordinances, and other legislative matters.
