Delhi University (DU) has officially released its first cut-off list for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025–26, sparking excitement among all the students across the country. The cut-offs are based on the CUET UG 2025 scores and have covered over 1,500 course-college combinations across 91 colleges, offering more than 70,000 seats.

Top Highlights from the Cut-Off List

Hindu College set with the highest benchmark of this year with a score of 950/1000 for BA (Hons.) Political Science.

Other colleges like St. Stephen’s, Miranda House, Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), SRCC, and Hansraj College have also reported with their high cut-offs in popular courses such as Economics, Psychology, English, and History.

Admissions are now being conducted through the DU CSAS portal, and seat acceptance for the first round is open until July 21, 2025.

Course-Wise Cut-Off Trends

The cut-offs may vary significantly depending on the course and college.

  • BA (Hons.) Psychology at LSR: 926
  • BA (Hons.) English at St. Stephen’s: 926
  • B.Com (Hons.) at SRCC: 917
  • BA (Hons.) History at Miranda House: 894
  • B.Sc (Hons.) Mathematics at Hindu College: 818

While top-tier programs saw with extremely high cut-offs, some language and regional courses had more accessible scores:

  • BA (Hons.) Hindi at Mata Sundri College: 65
  • BA (Hons.) Urdu at Zakir Hussain Delhi College: 111
  • BA (Hons.) Sanskrit: Ranged between 173 and 694 depending on the college

Admission Process & Next Steps

Students who have received the seat allocations must confirm with their admission by accepting the offer on the CSAS portal. Document verification will be completed by July 22, and the final date for fee payment is July 23, 2025. The second cut-off list is scheduled to be released on July 28, 2025.

DU has also introduced with greater transparency this year by publicly sharing minimum allocation scores for each course and category. This helps the students make informed decisions and understand the competitive landscape even better.

Category-Wise Cut-Offs

Cut-offs differ across categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD, with all the reserved categories generally seeing a 2–10 percentile point drop compared to the general category.

How to Check the Cut-Off List

Students can visit to the DU Admission Portal and navigate to the “CUET Cut-Off List 2025” section. From there, they can select their preferred college and course to view the detailed cut-offs and also download the official PDF.
