Trump Publishes AI Clip of Barack Obama’s Fake Arrest, cites “No One Is Above the Law”

U.S. President Donald Trump intensified his criticism of Barack Obama by posting an AI-made video showing the FBI arresting the former president Obama in the Oval Office.

On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump intensified his criticism of Barack Obama by posting an AI-made video showing the FBI arresting the former president Obama in the Oval Office.

The video, shared on Truth Social, starts with Barack Obama saying, “especially the President is also above the law.” It then shows clips of several U.S. politicians declaring, “no one is above the law.” After that, the AI-generated scene shows Obama being handcuffed by two FBI agents in the Oval Office. Trump appears in the background, sitting and smiling during the arrest. The fake video ends with Obama in a jail cell, wearing an orange prison jumpsuit.

Trump did not include any disclaimer saying the video was fake, a move that drew criticism. Many called it also “deeply irresponsible.”

This comes just weeks after Trump accused Barack Obama of being involved in “high-level election fraud.”

Meanwhile, last week, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard claimed she has “striking” and “overwhelming” evidence that former Obama officials created the Trump-Russia collusion theory after the 2016 election to block Trump from becoming president. She has called for a trial against members of the Obama administration.

Tulsi Gabbard wrote on X that Americans will finally learn the truth about how, in 2016, top officials in the Obama administration used intelligence for the political purposes. She claimed also that they set the stage for a years-long attempt to remove Donald Trump from office, calling it a threat to democracy and the will of the people.

However, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released a 114-page report stating that, before the 2016 election, U.S. intelligence agencies believed Russia was likely not trying to influence the outcome using cyber-attacks.

The report also noted that, as of December 8, 2016, a draft of the President’s daily brief said that Russia had not affected the election results through cyber activities against U.S. voting systems.
