Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Breaks Sales Records in the U.S.

Samsung announced on Thursday that its newest foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, has set a new record for the pre-orders in the U.S. Sales of the Fold 7 are up by 50% compared to the previous model, showing that more people are now interested in the foldable phones.

The company has also shared that the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which flips open like a classic flip phone, is also selling better than its older version. Combined with pre-orders for both the Fold 7 and Flip 7 have also increased by over 25% compared to last year. Samsung’s carrier partners were also saw a 60% jump in pre-orders for the new foldables.

Drew Blackard, a senior executive at Samsung, said that foldable phones are becoming mainstream. He also explained that after listening to customer feedback for years, Samsung has also created a device that offers a unique and satisfying experience. Once people try a Z series phone, they tend to love it.

He added that the strong interest in both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 shows that Samsung is headed in the right direction.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Sells Out in Many Indian Cities, Production Ramped Up

Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 7 has quickly sold out in many cities across India, leading the company to increase production at its Noida factory to meet with the high demand.

The Fold 7 comes with several advanced features that make it stand out. It has also a bright and colorful display with a Vision Booster for the better brightness, and a strong but lightweight hinge called Armor FlexHinge, which also helps reduce with the screen creases.

The main screen is protected with a Titanium plate layer, making it more durable. The phone runs on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and includes Galaxy AI features to the boost performance and with the user experience.

For photography, the Fold 7 is equipped with a 200 MP main rear camera, along with wide-angle and telephoto lenses, offering users professional-level photos and videos.
