Few Hindi films have ever commanded the box office the way Dhurandhar did. Aditya Dhar’s espionage epic, starring Ranveer Singh, opened on December 5, 2025, and turned into a months-long theatrical phenomenon. Here is the complete collection picture — the headline totals and the day-wise run — compiled from leading trade trackers. Box office figures vary slightly between trackers, so treat these as reported estimates rather than audited finals.

The headline numbers, according to trade tracker Sacnilk’s 55-day data: approximately Rs 835.5 crore net in India, an India gross of Rs 1,002.35 crore, and a worldwide total of roughly Rs 1,301 crore, with overseas markets contributing around Rs 298.65 crore. The film crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark within three weeks of release and went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.

The day-wise India net run, as reported by Sacnilk-based trade data, tells the story of extraordinary word of mouth. The first week closed at about Rs 207.25 crore (Day 1: Rs 28 cr, Day 2: Rs 32 cr, Day 3: Rs 43 cr, Day 4: Rs 23.25 cr, Day 5–7: Rs 27 cr each). The second week was even bigger at roughly Rs 253.25 crore, powered by a Rs 58 crore second Sunday. Week three added about Rs 172 crore, week four around Rs 106.5 crore, and week five close to Rs 51.25 crore — taking the five-week total past Rs 790 crore net, with the film still collecting in subsequent weeks.

What set the run apart was its weekday strength. As Box Office India noted, the Tuesday-to-Thursday collections in week one — around Rs 25 crore nett each — were actually higher than the opening day, a rare pattern that signals genuine audience endorsement rather than front-loaded hype. The film stayed popular in cinemas for 28 days straight and was still drawing audiences when it arrived on Netflix on January 30, 2026.

On the investment side, the film was mounted on a reported budget of about Rs 225 crore (with some trackers putting the combined two-part budget at Rs 250–300 crore). Against an India net of over Rs 835 crore, trade portal Koimoi calculated returns of roughly 285% — and stamped it a “Super Duper Hit,” one of the most profitable Hindi ventures ever.
