The second chapter of Aditya Dhar’s espionage saga is officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and it has already completed its journey from cinemas to streaming. The sequel released theatrically on March 19, 2026 — timed to the Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid al-Fitr weekend — and arrived on OTT in India on June 5, 2026. Here is the full timeline of where it streamed and when.
The digital rollout was staggered across regions, which caused some confusion at the time. Netflix handled the international streaming rollout around May 15, 2026, while India got a dedicated event: JioHotstar held a grand digital premiere on June 4, 2026, at 7 PM, complete with a 30-minute pre-show of cast interactions and making-of material. Regular on-demand streaming on JioHotstar began on June 5, 2026 — a 78-day gap from the theatrical opening. The India version was presented as the “Raw & Undekha” uncut edition.
Ranveer Singh returns as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, operating undercover as Hamza Ali Mazari, and this time the mission turns personal — the story builds toward vengeance for the 26/11 attacks as he takes on bigger threats inside Pakistan’s power structures. The ensemble is back in full force: Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan as the Intelligence Bureau chief, Arjun Rampal as Major Iqbal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. Akshaye Khanna’s Rehman Dakait appears in flashback sequences, and reports have suggested Vicky Kaushal joins the cast as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill, the character from Dhar’s Uri: The Surgical Strike.

The sequel was shot back-to-back with the first film — principal photography ran from July 2024 in Bangkok to October 2025, spanning Punjab, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh — and it arrives as a 235-minute epic, among the longest Hindi films ever made. Mounted on a reported budget of around Rs 250 crore, trade trackers put its worldwide gross at roughly Rs 1,492 crore, making the two-part franchise one of the most commercially successful spy sagas in Indian cinema.
For viewers in India, JioHotstar is the primary streaming home of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, with the satellite and digital rights resting with the platform. Netflix has also carried the film in select markets, so catalogue positions can vary by region — it is worth checking both apps on your own account rather than relying on old search results.

Taken together, the two Dhurandhar films now form a complete duology on streaming: the origin of an undercover operative in Part 1, and his brutal reckoning in Part 2. Dhar has even hinted at the possibility of a third chapter, so this may not be the last audiences see of Hamza Ali Mazari.
