Ai+ Smartphone has brought forward its planned price hike, which will now take effect on November 11, 2026, instead of November 15 as originally announced. Consumers have until November 10 to purchase their preferred devices at existing prices, subject to availability, the company said.
The decision follows stronger-than-anticipated consumer demand, with sales exceeding initial projections and existing inventory being exhausted ahead of schedule. The brand, built in India and powered by NxtQuantum OS, India’s first sovereign mobile operating system, has positioned itself on clean design, long battery life and accessible pricing.
Under the revised pricing, the Ai+ Pulse 2 FE with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will rise from Rs 8,999 to Rs 10,999, an increase of Rs 2,000. The Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will go up from Rs 19,999 to Rs 22,999, a rise of Rs 3,000. The Ai+ NovaFlip 5G, priced at Rs 49,999, remains unchanged.
The announcement matters because Ai+ is one of a small group of Indian brands trying to build a domestic alternative in a market dominated by Chinese and Korean manufacturers. Its pitch rests on NxtQuantum OS, developed by NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, a deep-tech Indian company building secure, sovereign digital platforms, and on the promise of trusted software performance without the bloatware that buyers often complain about.
For buyers, the message is straightforward: anyone planning to buy an Ai+ phone has a limited window to do so at current prices. The company has been clear that the revised prices apply from November 11, and that stocks at existing prices are limited. With the festive season still under way, the timing of the hike, just after Diwali, is likely to catch some shoppers by surprise.
The price revision also reflects a wider trend in the smartphone market, where brands have been passing on higher component costs to buyers. Demand for entry-level and mid-range phones has stayed strong in India, and companies that priced aggressively to win market share are now adjusting, as volumes rise and margins come under pressure.
Ai+ has also expanded into flip phones with the NovaFlip 5G, its first foldable, priced at Rs 49,999 and unchanged in the revision, with further models planned in the Nova series. The flip phone runs on NxtQuantum OS, optimised for both folded and unfolded states.
For now, the advice for prospective buyers is simple: if an Ai+ phone is on your list, buying before November 10 saves between Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000 on the most popular models. After that, the new prices apply, and the brand’s promise of accessible pricing will be tested against the reality of a more expensive market.
